Batch Final Grind 1st shift - New London, WI

Job Summary
Move buckets weighing up to 500 pounds and tanks weighing up to 1400 pounds of final ground meat to the stuffing area using tow motors. Set up, tear down, and operate power lifts, hand mules, and all processing equipment. Add ingredients to blends, correct batching, box bone removal material, and perform necessary weight and process checks. Assemble and disassemble equipment while maintaining general housekeeping and manufacturing practices. Complete all paperwork and SAP functions, including basic math operations. Comply with safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements. Perform job rotations and any other work assigned by management. Work the 1st shift in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions
- Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
- Perform any other work as assigned by management
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds frequently
- Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
- Ability and willingness to constantly stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
- Ability and willingness to distinguish between shades and/or colors
- 3 months of work history with the same employer
Desired Qualifications
- Machine Operator experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- RF Scanner experience preferred
