Job Summary
Total check totaling, payment acceptance, and food preparation for café patrons. Wipe tables and seats, serve salads, vegetables, meats, and breads, and brew coffee and tea. Carry pans, kettles, and trays between stations, scrub counters and equipment, segregate garbage, and replenish serving stations. Maintain inventory and transport waste to disposal areas. Shifts run Saturday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm. High school diploma or GED required with industrial kitchen experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidate must be able to lift and carry 45lbs
- Candidate must be able to push and pull minimally
- Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical
