Job Summary
Lead youth basketball programs with a focus on skill development; instruct fundamentals, lead drills and scrimmages appropriate to age/skill level, supervise sessions for safety and engagement; foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship; communicate with parents and staff regarding schedules, progress, and feedback; maintain equipment and gym space; support broader Sports & Recreation programming as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience coaching or teaching basketball (youth preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and positively engage children and teens
- Availability on weekends and/or after-school hours
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
