Job Summary
Conduct daily practice supervision, maintain accurate squad rosters and equipment inventory, and enforce KSHSAA rules and safety protocols. Organize pre-season parent meetings, submit practice schedules to administration, and report injuries to school officials. Manage team logistics including uniform checkout, equipment issuance, and yearbook presentation while advising students on sportsmanship and discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Sport specific participation
- Must be CPR/AED (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillator) certified or be willing to obtain and maintain certification
- Ability to speak clearly and audibly to various groups expressing ideas in a logical and forthright manner
- Ability to quickly analyze a situation and provide prompt advice
- Ability to respond to information requests in a courteous, timely and helpful manner
- Ability to work constructively and cooperatively with others
- Ability to travel as needed
