Job Summary
Basketball Coach for Elevate cohort in Brooklyn, part-time (15-18 hours/week). Responsible for coaching basketball three times weekly, developing a sports curriculum aligned with workforce readiness and careers in sports management, supporting sessions and events, staff collaboration, recruitment and marketing, and building partnerships. Performs administrative tasks including data entry, virtual workshop facilitation, and communications. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, travel across sites up to 50%, and use technology daily. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; experience with older youth (18-26) preferred; strong verbal/written communication; trauma-informed knowledge a plus; CPR/First Aid/AED certification a plus.
