Job Summary
Assist in planning, developing and implementing the basketball program for the boys’ team at North Lincoln Middle School; provide leadership and support in administering the sport program; foster a positive learning climate; contribute to ongoing improvement of the sport and coaching operations; maintain professional work habits and communicate effectively with parents and the school community; support coaching staff, build rapport with participants and school staff, and participate in activities that promote professional growth and development while upholding conduct during games and practices. Requires HS diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and completion of NFHS coaching courses; CPR certification for paid coaches; HR onboarding, drug test and background check, health physical and TB test prior to work with student athletes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- HS Diploma or GED
- coaching experience preferred
- complete NFHS coaching courses
- CPR certification for paid coaches
