Job Summary
Operate basket washing machines by placing baskets into moveable beds, adjusting water or steam jet specifications, and starting conveyor systems to clean baskets. Examine washed items to remove foreign matter and measure or pour soap and detergent into wash water. Clean equipment, walls, and floors using specific procedures while following Confined Space Policy. Maintain accurate cleaning records and report unsanitary practices to foreperson or manager. This role requires standing for eight hours, lifting up to 100 lbs, and working in high-temperature environments with exposure to cleaning solutions and flour dust. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- Must be able to stand for 8 or more hours and perform repetitive reaching and grasping tools and equipment
- Frequent Kneeling/squatting, bending, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling of 50 to 100 lbs
- Must be able to work any day, including holidays and any shift
- Must have reliable attendance to meet employers attendance standards for 24/7 production
- Ability to work in high temperature environments
- Will be exposed to cleaning solutions, flour dust, dust and various chemicals
