Job Summary

Basing Programmer (remote) to support National Guard Bureau (NGB) Engineering Support Services for the ANG. Lead basing Bed Down actions for ANG MILCON, FSRM, and NEPA programs; conduct Bed Down planning for weapon systems; provide facility and infrastructure analysis from site surveys and SATAF activities; develop COAs, analyze and compare basing actions, and assist ANG with identifying and validating facility and infrastructure costs. Model and analyze basing enterprise criteria; develop SOPs for basing/site surveys to prioritize reuse of existing facilities; prepare trip reports and SATAF reports; support MILCON/SRM planning; act as a technical consultant for installation planning, design, construction, and maintenance; develop and present point papers, briefings, and spreadsheets; participate in meetings, site visits, and conferences; mentor junior staff; manage complex projects and timelines; demonstrate ownership attributes and compliance with security requirements. The role emphasizes remote work and requires an active security-minded engineering background with strong communication and project-management skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific field
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) or more years of experience in facility planning, programming, and project management
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience planning projects and programs for industrial and/or federal clients
  • Department of Defense facility programming or project management experience
