Job Summary
Performs radiologic procedures and operates radiographic equipment to support medical diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning, selecting appropriate radiographic factors, ensuring radiation safety and infection control, processing and reviewing x-ray images, maintaining film files and records, conducting quality and safety checks, and reporting equipment issues. Must be able to float to other FHMG practices as needed and communicate effectively in English. Required certifications include BLS and BMO, with an associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in radiologic technology (preferred: Associate)
- High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) Certification (Required)
- 1+ basic x-ray operator experience (Preferred)
