Job Summary
Perform radiographic and imaging examinations in line with Department of Radiology requirements, coordinating patient imaging within the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Provide training and guidance to new Radiographers, students, and trainees while ensuring patient comfort through clear explanations of procedures and waiting times. Review radiology requests to confirm accuracy regarding patient details, clinical indications, and potential hazards. Maintain a flexible approach to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, adhering to regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols. Both permanent and fixed-term contracts are available with competitive salary, pension, and funded professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with CORU with an active and valid registration
- Demonstrated relevant clinical experience in Radiography
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Strong commitment to quality assurance, patient safety, and adherence to regulatory standards
- Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient-centred care at all times
- Technically competent with a high level of clinical accuracy and proficiency in radiographic procedures and equipment
