Job Summary
Instructs youth and adults in on- and off-ice skating within the Glenview Park District Skating Academy; teaches fundamentals of ice skating; assists in recruiting skaters; handles parent/skater/instructor concerns during off-ice time; assists with seasonal exhibitions; mentors skaters and instructors; attends and assists at rink competitions and/or ice shows.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- 3-5 years skating experience or continuing education in figure skating
- Active membership in a professional association preferred (PSA, Learn to Skate USA, or U.S. Figure Skating)
