Job Summary
Basel Measurement & Analytics (BM&A) Derivatives Team Analyst role focusing on RWA for derivatives under Basel 3. Responsible for producing RWA related to derivatives exposures, analyzing quarter-over-quarter changes, and identifying variance drivers with LOB controllers and credit officers. Manage the derivative book of work for updates to calculations and related reporting, and assess impact on processes. Provide Project Management support to senior management with status on multi-year tasks; prepare objective analyses to support decision-making on regulatory capital; perform ad-hoc quantitative impact analysis on the firm’s RWA under Basel rules; evaluate and manage controls on key processes; develop strong client relationships and gain consensus on key decisions. Preferred experience with Basel Capital Rules and derivative products. Must be authorized to work in the United States with no immigration sponsorship offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- minimum 1 year experience in Finance or Risk Management
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in pressure-oriented environment
- Excel/database/desktop skills
- Results oriented with ability to meet deadlines
- Interpersonal skills to work with colleagues at various levels
