Job Summary
Analyst in Basel Measurement & Analytics (BM&A) focused on producing RWA under Basel rules and analyzing quarter-over-quarter variance. Responsibilities include supporting the collection and aggregation of monthly RWA datasets, performing data validation, investigating data gaps, completing monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables, collaborating with LOB controllers, preparing updates for senior management, and leading projects to advance the Capital Infrastructure. The role interacts with Capital Management, C&LP, FRRA, and other stakeholders to address capital-related matters, including regulatory reporting and QIS support. Proficiency with Excel and SQL, and knowledge of Basel III rules (preferred) are beneficial; experience with Alteryx, Databricks or Python is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or Economics
- Treasury, Financial or Regulatory Reporting experience at a financial institution or related intern/co-op experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, able to work independently, and possess a controls mindset
- Self-motivated, able to handle challenges
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational skills and control focus
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Superior attention to detail and process-orientation
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and some SQL experience
