Job Summary
The Sports Coordinator will enhance the i9 Sports experience by building relationships with players, parents, and coaches, and ensuring instructional activities are delivered. Responsibilities include empowering volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focused on fundamentals and fun, teaching core concepts including sportsmanship, supervising game-day operations, maintaining a positive attitude, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across all groups and skill levels, with emphasis on safety and relationship-building. Weekend availability is required across multiple season dates (Apr 19–Jun 1, Jul 12–Aug 23, Oct–Dec).
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work on weekends (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
