Job Summary
Operate a well-structured baseball program by working cooperatively with the head athletic coach and attending all prescribed staff meetings. Carry out specific duties designated by the head coach, including recommending equipment, supplies, and disciplinary actions for rule violations. Foster athletes' desire to win while promoting good sportsmanship, personal pride, and school community pride. Perform other duties related to the assistant athletic coach position as requested by the high school principal or athletic director. Season runs from February through May.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience or participation in the sport which you are applying for on high school or college levels
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools
- Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools
