Job Summary
Baseball, Assistant Coach at a Loudoun County high school season runs February–May. Responsibilities include collaborating with the head athletic coach and athletic department, attending staff meetings, carrying out duties designated by the head coach, recommending equipment and supplies for the program, suggesting disciplinary actions for rule violations, fostering sportsmanship and pride among athletes, and performing other duties as requested by the principal or athletic director. Required coaching experience or participation at HS/college level, CPR and First Aid certification or current enrollment, and preference for teaching-license holders or Loudoun County schools’ classified employees. Part-time role during the spring season.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college levels
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course
- Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools
- Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools
