Job Summary
Develop and coordinate pilot duty schedules with the Regional Director of Flight Operations, while managing flight planning activities and resources for mission support at the base. Conduct local area orientations for new hire pilots and monitor forecast changes and current weather situations. Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently, performing preflight inspections using the Rotorcraft Flight Manual and logging discrepancies for maintenance. Provide leadership and training to Base Line Pilots, reviewing monthly flight/duty logs and assisting with day-to-day management of flight and administrative issues. Submit payroll grids to the Regional Director of Flight Operations and coordinate aviation activities for public relations events.
Required Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
Desired Qualifications
- Previous HAA experience or equivalent
- One year of experience as a Pilot with a GMR company
- Previous supervisory experience
