Job Summary
Develop and coordinate pilot duty schedules with the Regional Director of Flight Operations. Conduct local area orientations for new hire pilots and perform preflight inspections of aircraft prior to shifts, noting discrepancies in the engineering log. Monitor forecast changes and current weather situations while reviewing and submitting monthly flight/duty logs to the Regional Director. Operate aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual, assisting in day-to-day management of flight and administrative issues. Submit payroll grids for assigned base pilots and coordinate flight planning activities with the Program Director.
Required Qualifications
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
Desired Qualifications
- Previous HAA experience or equivalent
- One year of experience as a Pilot with a GMR company
- Previous supervisory experience helpful
