Job Summary
The Base Operations Manager at Chemours provides strategic and operational guidance for manufacturing facilities, requiring a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years in manufacturing operations, with leadership and safety management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 10 or more years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractors
- Thorough process safety management skills in high hazard operations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in facilitating continuous improvement in various manufacturing areas such as capacity release, quality, and EHS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in chemical plant operations or equivalent military experience
- Six Sigma certification and / or Agile, Lean Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with SAP for cost/work order administration
- Familiarity with Asset Care processes such as Work Management Process, Reliability improvement processes, capital processes, etc.
