Job Summary
Base Maintenance Group Supervisor II (Night shift) leads preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities for the Shredder Line, mobile equipment, and yard systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation; performs hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, uses CMMS (UPTime) for maintenance planning and records, monitors maintenance KPIs, coordinates technicians and contractors, supports spare parts and materials management, and assists Engineering during equipment evaluation, installation, and startup of new or modified equipment; requires advanced mechanical/hydraulic expertise in steel manufacturing or similar environments, experience with industrial mobile equipment, and leadership/training of technical teams; role includes on-site rotation with night shifts and potential international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced technical knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems in steel manufacturing or similar high-degradation industrial environments
- Experience maintaining industrial mobile equipment (material handlers, forklifts, skid steers, trucks)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/hydraulic failures
- Experience with CMMS systems for inspections and maintenance tracking
- Knowledge of spare parts management and warehouse operations
- Proficiency with Excel reporting for materials and downtime
- Proven ability to lead and train technical teams
- Availability for Monday to Friday shift 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with on-call flexibility
- Willingness to travel internationally for collaboration
