Job Summary
Conduct physical labor operations including cleaning, stocking, and preparing areas for guests and customers. Ensure work and customer spaces are clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe by power washing shower houses, sanitizing facilities, and maintaining equipment. Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions while performing additional duties assigned by leadership and adhering to staff handbook policies. Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record and obtain a driving permit during orientation. Work 45-55 hours daily standing, walking, and hiking up to 8 hours with a 50-pound lift capacity. Live in a 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp wearing the Summit Staff Uniform. Maintain a positive attitude, high emotional intelligence, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment connecting with diverse age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+ (16+ if able to commute)
- Able to obtain SBR driving permit during orientation
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
