Job Summary
The BAS Sales Representative is accountable for driving revenue growth by developing, selling, and expanding Building Automation Systems (BAS) solutions. Responsibilities include identifying and closing BAS opportunities, generating new business through prospecting, and managing customer relationships. The role requires strong sales acumen paired with a technical understanding of HVAC controls and energy management systems. The ideal candidate possesses 3–7+ years of related experience and a proven track record in technical sales within the BAS industry.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in BAS, HVAC controls, or related technical sales
- Strong understanding of building automation systems and HVAC systems
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and controls drawings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
- Knowledge of energy efficiency solutions and smart building technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
