Required Qualifications

• •HS diploma or greater
• •Installation & Commissioning
• •Interoperability of systems
• •HVAC Electrical Troubleshooting
• •AX Certified
• •BAS Advanced Applications
• •Experience in IT networks
• •Siemens BAS certifications
• •Honeywell BAS certifications
• •Trane BAS certifications
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and control diagrams
• •Ability to organize and keep report documents in an organized and readable format
• •Knowledge of Windows operating system
• •Knowledge of BAS engineering software
• •Strong understanding of IT networks and protocols
• •Understanding of Microsoft SQL servers
• •Ability to be legally authorized to work in the United States
• •Ability to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire

Desired Qualifications

• •Ability to develop an understanding of BAS communication protocols
• •In-depth understanding of Ohm's Law and electrical circuits
• •Basic understanding of blueprints and schematic drawings
• •Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
• •Understanding of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
• •Understanding of variable and constant volume air flows
• •Understanding of concepts of VFD's and the ability to perform operational function checks
• •Understanding of the basic concepts of Test and Balance procedures
• •Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
• •Ability to identify, size and create valve and actuator schedules
• •Ability to download and adjust BAS programs
• •Ability to perform functional checks of mechanical systems
• •Understanding of the basics of IT networks to include networking and configuration of systems
• •Working knowledge of AutoCad
• •Understanding of types and capabilities of differing control signals
• •Ability to develop scope of work
• •Ability to collect and research data
