Job Summary
Commissioning Manager responsible for delivering the technical scope of Thermo Systems projects, leading on-site commissioning activities, developing and executing testing strategy, and coordinating engineering and technical resources. Acts as the primary technical liaison with customers, coordinating with project teams, clients, contractors, and commissioning agents to ensure systems are implemented, tested, commissioned, and handed over per contract. Requires end-to-end ownership of commissioning activities, FAT/SAT execution, punch-list resolution, and upholding quality and safety standards, with strong customer-facing communication and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment. Role is hybrid (on-site during commissioning) and travel-heavy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent hands-on field experience
- 5–8 years of commissioning experience, including 3–4 years of technical field experience in commissioning, controls, automation, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience leading field teams and managing technical resources across concurrent project activities
- Experience serving as a primary client contact or site-level technical liaison
- Industrial automation or systems integration background
- FAT/SAT and commissioning methodology experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments
- Multidisciplinary engineering coordination experience across MEP and controls disciplines
- Experience with customer commissioning platforms such as CX Alloy or BIM 360
