Job Summary
Conduct exceptional guest service by acting as a salesperson who recommends food and beverage specials and menus. Prepare quality drinks using thorough knowledge of recipes, garnishes, and bar accounting procedures while maintaining perfect presentations. Greet guests immediately, ensure prompt and efficient delivery, and communicate clearly with enthusiasm to build rapport within a six-foot radius. Maintain general bar appearance through cleaning and stocking, and own any mistakes to correct them and strive for a win-win situation. Work as a team member with outgoing self-composure, standing and exerting mobility for periods up to five hours while lifting trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Able to serve alcohol according to state law
- Able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location
- Able to perform simple mathematical calculations in regard to money handling
- Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to five (5) hours in length
- Must have a good sense of balance
- Able to bend, kneel and lift bus pans, trays, etc. frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
- Able to effectively lead and coach others
- Able to communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests and team members
- Have an outgoing attitude
- Able to retain your self-composure at all times
- Have a sense of urgency
- Have a thorough knowledge of service sequences and guidelines
- Have a thorough knowledge of bar accounting procedures
- Have a thorough knowledge of drink making techniques and recipes
- Have a thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and promos
