Job Summary
Bartender responsibilities include delivering customer service and ensuring compliance with age-verification laws to create a welcoming, memorable experience. Responsibilities cover crafting beverages tailored to customer preferences, maintaining a clean, stocked bar and dining area, handling glassware sanitation and cash transactions, greeting guests, taking and fulfilling drink and food orders, offering menu recommendations, and assisting with clearing and resetting tables. The role reports to the General Manager and requires the ability to stand for long periods, work across departments, and obtain a Liquor License and server training. Hours may be full-time or part-time; the position is non-exempt and hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods (up to 10 hours)
- Ability to cross-train and work in different departments
- Ability to obtain Liquor License and complete required server training
