Job Summary
Craft cocktails and prepare beverages with precision, adhering to Vandelay recipes and standards while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the full beverage program. Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to guests at the bar and in support of the dining room, anticipating needs and offering knowledgeable guidance on wine, spirits, and seasonal features. Execute opening and closing procedures, manage bar inventory, and collaborate closely with servers to ensure seamless operations and accurate order presentation. Handle guest concerns with a solution-oriented approach while upholding responsible alcohol service guidelines and safety protocols. Maintain TABC and food service certifications, complete product knowledge quizzes, and participate in ongoing training to refine technical skills within this upscale, high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Positive attitude, a sense of responsibility and ownership of the position
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability
- Will be required to complete and pass quizzes on product/job knowledge
- TABC Certification, as required
- Certified for food and alcohol service as is required by State and Local Agencies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
