Job Summary
Bartenders craft cocktails and prepare beverages with precision, deliver warm, attentive service at the bar and in support of the dining room, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the beverage program (wine, spirits, beer, cocktails). They anticipate guest needs, provide guidance on offerings, uphold service steps, manage bar inventory, and collaborate with servers and hosts to ensure seamless operations while complying with responsible alcohol service guidelines. The role includes opening/closing procedures, ongoing training, and opportunities to deepen technical knowledge and guest-focused hospitality skills. Knowledge and passion for wine, beer, and craft cocktails, plus certifications and compliance with state/local beverage-service requirements, are essential to success.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old or older
- TABC Certification, as required
- Certified for food and alcohol service as is required by State and Local Agencies
- Experience in a full-service upscale high volume establishment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
