Job Summary
Stock the bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, and assist with cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records. Monitor food and beverage products, communicate with management on supply needs, and ensure compliance with state liquor laws and standard operating procedures. Handle opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking, while managing checks and cash transactions via the Point of Sales System. Review banquet schedules, catered parties, and special events, occasionally serving meals to guests. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance and perform other duties as required. Must be at least 21 years old, possess knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties, and hold Alcohol Awareness Training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year of bartending experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- at least 21 years of age
- Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties
- Alcohol Awareness Training
- Knowledge of POS system
- Ability to read and speak English
