Job Summary
Open and close the bar in a timely manner, serving beer, wine, and other beverages while verifying age requirements and processing payments. Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes, maintaining prudent portion control and documenting orders into the point-of-sale register. Manage inventory by requisitioning and stocking spirits, paper products, and perishables, while ensuring sanitation and cleanliness throughout the front-of-house area. Check IDs for guests under 30, receive cash, make change, and deposit drops to balance all charges. Uphold core values of Spirit, Courage, Own It, Respect, and Excellence by responding urgently to concerns and maintaining a professional appearance in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
- Stay comfortable on feet for the entire shift
- Mobility to kneel, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects
- Capability to climb step stools of a height of 3 feet
- Previous experience as a bartender or similar role
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Extreme attention to detail and quality
