Job Summary
Prepare and serve diverse alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while interacting with guests to take and deliver drink orders. Maintain a clean and organized bar area by stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and preparing garnishes. Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal requirements, handling cash and processing payments accurately. Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns. Collaborate with the bar team to provide exceptional service while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. This role requires proven experience with mixology techniques, knowledge of drink recipes, and the ability to operate a point-of-sale system. Certification in responsible beverage service is required where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a similar environment
- Extensive knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
- Must be at least the legal drinking age in the jurisdiction of employment
- Certification in responsible beverage service (where required by law)
