Job Summary
Deliver a memorable, professional five-star beverage experience by mixing drinks timely according to standardized recipes and advising guests enthusiastically on menu choices. Boost revenue through upselling and creative initiatives while contributing ideas to the creative process of beverage menus across the hotel. Share knowledge of mixology, promotions, and Savoy stories to enhance the guest journey. Maintain high standards of safety, sanitation, and COVID policies when handling food and beverage. Work collaboratively as part of the bar team in a fast-paced, luxury environment, solving problems in the moment with calm courtesy.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years bartending experience in a luxury environment
- Passion for and understanding of 5 star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it
- Empathetic with a talent for building rapport, and reading each guest's desired level of interaction
- Quick thinking, resourceful and able to solve problems 'in the moment'
- Able to remain calm and courteous at all times
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Rights to work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge with a POS System
- Basic knowledge with Open table
- Industry related certifications (i.e. WSET)
