Job Summary
Bartender at The Rooftop (The Vendue) in Charleston, SC. Deliver warm, engaging service in a fast-paced, high-energy rooftop bar. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing and serving cocktails per recipes and standards, handling beverage accountability, ensuring compliance with South Carolina and federal alcohol regulations, maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar, and collaborating across hotel departments. Requires 3 years of bartending experience (high-volume preferred), knowledge of spirits and cocktails, strong guest-service orientation, and the ability to obtain TIPS certification within 30 days. Part-time role with opportunities for growth; located at 19 Vendue Range, Charleston, SC.EOE/DFWP.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of bartending experience (high-volume preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of industry's best practices
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (paid by The Vendue)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Basic math and POS experience
