Job Summary
As a Bartender at The Porch, you will greet guests, prepare beverages while adhering to pouring standards and recipes, and monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption. Responsibilities include coordinating food service, managing service recovery, setting up the bar, and maintaining cleanliness. The role demands knowledge of beverage preparation and serving, effective communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A background in bartending and relevant certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ability to carry or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Engaging communication skills
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must speak fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training
- Alcohol awareness certification
- Food service permit or valid health/food handler card
