Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous beverage service to guests while ensuring proper mixology, portion control, and content information. Maintain sanitation standards for the bar area and make sure bar operation is set up and ready to open on time. Strictly enforce ID compliance and alcohol awareness levels, courteously cutting off service when necessary to meet legal age requirements. Perform cashier duties using the Micros system, including ringing up sales, collecting payments, and making shift deposits. Handle guest complaints as assigned and perform side work such as stocking supplies. Work a typical 32-40-hour schedule, 5 days per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to be able to legally serve and sell alcohol beverages in the state of Arizona.
- Previous bartending experience with extensive knowledge of various types of beer, wine, applying and firmly enforcing State liquor laws and company policies with regard to alcohol service.
- Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to physically stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Constantly: Stand, walk and lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
- Frequently: reach outward, lift/carry up to 20 lbs., and push/pull up to 12 lbs.
- Occasionally: Sit, reach outward & above shoulder, squat/kneel, bend, lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and push pull up to 100 lbs.
