Job Summary
Bartender needed inside Canopy DC Embassy Row by Hilton to engage guests, craft cocktails, stock the bar, take and process drink orders, handle payments, and contribute to a positive dining atmosphere for in-house guests and nearby patrons. Responsibilities include opening/stocking tasks, coordinating with other departments, attending shift/department meetings, resolving guest concerns in a friendly, timely manner, performing closing duties, and adhering to safety practices. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for the duration of the shift, be over 21, and hold a valid TIPS or CARE certification. Knowledge of current liquors, wines, and beers, plus handling IDs and ensuring guests are of legal age, are essential. Position requires wearing the proper uniform and nametag and participating in mandatory hotel trainings.
