Job Summary
Prepare all beverages for guests, actively take orders, and conduct full food and beverage service while monitoring the bar and dining experience. Anticipate guest needs, present menus, answer questions, and solicit allergy or dietary restrictions. Accurately enter orders into the POS system, follow payment procedures, and ensure delivery of food and beverages to guests at the bar and lounge. Maintain general cleanliness of the bar and venue, organize liquor displays, and stock bar stations with prescribed supplies. Set up and close bar stations, perform side-work, and complete opening and closing procedures as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartender experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience
- Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
- Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails
- Basic familiarity with wine varietals and classic regions around the world
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
- Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
- Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
