Job Summary
Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards. Build and maintain positive relationships with members and repeat guests by recognizing preferences and anticipating needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate ordering needs to the Food & Beverage Manager. Assist with event setup, breakdown, and other Food & Beverage operational needs as required. Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures while keeping supervisors informed of any problems needing immediate attention. Promote a fair and harmonious work environment upholding Stratton Mountain Club standards for appearance, service excellence, and guest satisfaction. This seasonal full-time role starts at $8.75+ and is tip eligible, requiring certified alcohol service knowledge and ability to work flexible on-call hours including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year bartending experience in a fine dining food and beverage environment and/or high-volume location
- Possesses a proficient knowledge of wine, beer & liquor quality
- Certified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours including nights and weekends
- Must be organized, be able to multitask and be able to make quick independent decisions
- Ability to remain calm during stressful situations and adapt well to many different situations and changes
- This position will be required to weekends and holidays
