Job Summary
The Bartender at Shark Bar Orlando is responsible for delivering energetic and professional customer service while preparing cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. Responsibilities include taking orders, mixing ingredients, handling payments, and completing assigned side work. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interactions with guests and co-workers. Ideal candidates must possess at least 1-2 years of bartending experience in high volume settings, have knowledge of various beverage brands, and hold relevant certifications as required by local or state agencies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience with bartending at high volume bars and/or nightclubs
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Communication skills
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Basic math skills
Desired Qualifications
- Formal bartending training preferred
- Fluent in other languages
