Job Summary
Bartender position at Shamin Hotels involves directly serving guests, preparing and presenting cocktails and beverages, verifying ages, handling payments, maintaining inventory and bar cleanliness, and collaborating with servers to support dining service. Responsibilities include setting up the bar, taking and ringing in orders, ensuring accurate pricing and tips, delivering exceptional guest experiences, upholding SOPs, and supporting closing duties. Must demonstrate hospitality, communication, and multitasking skills, with adherence to legal age verification and company policies. Training and certification (TIP) expected within 3 months. Location: Hampton, VA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Customer Service Skills required
- Prioritization and time management skills required
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Gain TIP certification within 3 months of acquiring the job
