Job Summary
Greets guests, takes beverage orders, and prepares mixed drinks, beer, and wine offerings. Provides full dining service from the restaurant, offers and services the full menu to seated guests, and maintains cleanliness of the bar, bar unit, tables, and tools. Checks identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase and collects payments while balancing receipts. Maintains high-level knowledge of wine, beer, and mixed drink recipes, and prepares fresh garnishes. Works nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Age requirement of 21+
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a certification on responsible beverage service
- Must be able to obtain a bartender's license
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and human relations skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience
- Knowledge of contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine
