Job Summary
Join the Highline Vail, a DoubleTree by Hilton, as a Seasonal Bartender for the 2025/2026 winter season. Responsibilities include maintaining bar set-up, mixing and garnishing drinks, processing guest orders, and ensuring compliance with beverage-serving regulations. Ideal candidates are energetic, customer-focused with at least six months bartending experience, food handler and TIPS certifications. Team players with basic food and beverage knowledge and good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of experience as a Bartender
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register
- Sufficient manual dexterity in hands
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
- Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Food handler certification
- TIPS (or equivalent) certification
Additional Requirements
- Work schedule will vary, and weekends and holidays will be required
