Job Summary
Bartender needed for Shinmai Moku izakaya opening team to craft cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and non-alcoholic beverages with attention to detail; guide guests through beverage menu; maintain clean bar; verify guest age and follow local/state regulations; handle payments and POS; assist with bar prep, inventory, and closing duties; collaborate with kitchen and floor team to ensure smooth service; contribute to a positive team culture and guest experience while working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, sake, beer, and Japanese-inspired beverages is a plus
- Strong sense of hospitality and communication
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, team oriented, and detail focused
- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol in North Carolina
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
