Greeting customers as they approach the bar and taking orders for drinks; preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner; checking identification to verify ages and ensuring customers are not over-served; maintaining a clean and organized bar area including restocking supplies, cleaning glasses, and wiping surfaces; managing cash and credit card transactions including opening/closing tabs and making change; creating a welcoming atmosphere, engaging with customers, recommending menu items, and answering questions about drinks; managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed; providing guidance and assistance to other bar staff.
