Job Summary
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately while maintaining an inviting bar environment. Engage guests warmly, guide them through offerings, and process payments using POS procedures. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and restock supplies, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist with opening and closing duties and support restaurant operations during peak periods. This hands-on role at the Atterbury Hotel requires attentiveness, efficiency, and pride in delivering thoughtful hospitality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
- Knowledge of bar service, beverage preparation, and hospitality standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and associates
- Ability to read and follow recipes, tickets, and service instructions
- Manual coordination to operate bar equipment, handle glassware, and prepare beverages efficiently
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to hear and respond effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
