Job Summary
Greet guests with a smile, describe food and beverage options, and mix drinks using standard recipes while maintaining portion control. Stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, and fresh garnishes; organize the bar area and sanitize surfaces. Input orders into the POS, manage cash, and verify charges to balance moneys. Complete daily inventory prep sheets, attend monthly meetings, and ensure compliance with food safety policies. Work effectively with kitchen and service teams while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field
- Knowledge of drink preparation
- previous bartender experience
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
- Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time
- Must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule
- Must provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Read, write, understand and communicate with others effectively using the English language
Desired Qualifications
- Work Experience: Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Knowledge of drink preparation, previous bartender experience preferred
