Job Summary
Check customer identification for age compliance, present menus, and take food and beverage orders. Prepare drinks including wine, liquor, and beer, while cooking appetizers and food items per recipes. Monitor seating in the lounge, compute bills, and accept payments. Clean work areas, tables, and equipment, and maintain kitchen and bar stations. Plan lounge operations, slice fruit for garnish, and arrange bottle displays. Inventories supplies weekly and order requisitions. Maintain temp and waste logs, examine foodstuffs for quality, and ensure tips are reported for tax processing. Located near Interstate 95 in Milford, the venue offers five meeting rooms and room service. As part of Aimbridge Hospitality's global portfolio, the team serves guests across 50 states and 22 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Three to six months related experience
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to read write and speak the English language
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
- Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely
- Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time
- Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours
