Job Summary
Greet guests, sell wine and beverages through proactive offering, and curate the best experience possible by maintaining a general command of the food and beverage menu. Prepare and serve consistently excellent beverages directly at the bar or through serving staff while offering assistance and accommodating guest requests. Execute accurate cash handling, set up and maintain the bar, and immediately notify management of any guest complaints. Learn the menu, POS, policies, and procedures to ensure recipe adherence and strong mixology operational skills. Work nights, weekends, and holidays with a variable schedule, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum 3+ years of bartender experience in a well-rated restaurant
- Excellent communication skills with guests, team members, and management
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize while remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Department of Health hygiene and safety rules
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business
- Ability to speak and read English
- Commitment to maintaining availability that aligns with needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- TIPS certification preferred
