Job Summary
Bartender role at The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery (Liverpool, UK). You will develop your skills with onsite Mixologists, expanding knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beers, and delight guests with tailored beverage experiences. The role involves serving drinks to guests with a focus on luxury hospitality, maintaining service standards, upselling opportunities, and delivering memorable guest journeys. Requires at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume cocktail bar, fluency in English, and availability for flexible shifts including Christmas and New Year. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts across mornings, middays, or evenings. Training from onsite Mixologists and opportunities within the MGallery and RBH benefit programs are provided. Location is Liverpool, England, United Kingdom.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume cocktail bar
- Knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails
- Ability to talk in depth about varieties of cocktails
- Fluent English communication
- Creativity and storytelling in cocktail presentation
- Ability to maintain efficient bar operation and service standards
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including Christmas and New Year period
- Willingness to upsell and enhance guest experiences
- Ability to work across varied shift patterns (morning, midday, evening)
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and Heartists®
