Job Summary
Greet guests in a friendly, courteous, and attentive manner while serving food and drinks using suggestive selling techniques. Ring drink orders into the computer immediately, collect payment, and prepare garnishments while maintaining a clean bar. Operate the hotel computer system and Micros, perform opening and closing procedures, and restock bar inventory. Follow proper cash handling procedures, including bank reconciliation and end-of-shift drops, and comply with food handling and liquor laws. Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues as needed. Requires previous bartending experience, mixology knowledge, and ServSafe and TIPS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or barback
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies
- ServSafe, TIPS Certification
- Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Pre-employment background check
